Future Projects

Ideas I'm building towards.

These aren't businesses. They are ideas that I have thought and researched about. They are far-fetched ambitions right now. However, if I take the necessary steps forward, starting with this content, the chances of reality may slowly begin to grow. As such they can be considered 'delusional', but I want to share what I am thinking about in public — because the best way to build something real is to start talking about it honestly.

Everything on this page is an idea in development. These are not established businesses, funded projects or anything other than genuine ambitions I'm working towards. I think there's value in sharing the thinking process — not just the finished product.

The Albergo Diffuso Concept
Idea in DevelopmentInspired by Italy

The Albergo Diffuso Concept

Stay in its history. Experience its culture. Support its future.

Inspired by Italy’s Albergo Diffuso model, the concept combines accommodation across existing historic buildings with a complete, personalised experience of the surrounding community. Through one convenient package, guests could stay in restored local properties while experiencing regional food, architecture, crafts, nature, traditions, stories and everyday community life. Each stay would be shaped around the destination and the guest’s interests. This could appeal to couples, families, solo travellers and groups interested in culture, food, history, sustainability, architecture, rural life or simply experiencing somewhere beyond the usual tourist route. A central hospitality hub with a network of local residents, guides, producers and independent businesses would make the experience easy to access without removing its authenticity. Guests could also be invited to give something back by co-hosting a community celebration, cooking food and sharing traditions inspired by their own background, creating a two-way cultural exchange that strengthens relationships between visitors and residents, helps people learn from one another and brings different cultures together.

Why this?

I’ve experienced places where tourism has gradually replaced local character with something designed to look authentic. I want to explore the opposite: hospitality that makes a place more itself, not less. I also want to help revitalise communities at risk of losing its next generation because of limited opportunities, creating reasons for future business and service owners to stay, return and build livelihoods before culturally rich towns become ghost towns and their people, history and stories disappear. By bringing accommodation and local experiences together, guests can form a genuine connection with a destination while their visit supports the people, traditions and buildings that give it meaning.

Current stage

Research and concept development. The idea has grown from my International Tourism Management studies and dissertation examining Albergo Diffuso from the tourist perspective. I am continuing to learn Italian, identify potential destinations, find potential investors and clientele, and develop a model that is authentic, convenient, environmentally responsible and commercially viable.

The Club in Motion
Idea in DevelopmentInspired by Mediterranean

The Club in Motion

Move by day. Celebrate into the night. Community throughout.

A Mediterranean-inspired beach and social club where sport, hospitality, music and entertainment form one connected experience. The programme could combine a sports club itinerary, for example of padel, football, running, and swimming facilities, alongside DJ-led day parties, live performances, and themed events. Sustainability would be built into the club rather than added as an afterthought, using green technology, responsible sourcing, low-waste operations and community clean-up initiatives to protect and positively contribute to its surroundings. Quality food, drinks and adaptable social spaces would allow the atmosphere to develop naturally throughout the day—giving people equal reason to visit for an activity, a party, an event or simply the opportunity to meet others and be part of something energetic.

Why this?

Some of my best experiences while travelling have happened in places where activity, entertainment and social life naturally overlap. Sport helps people connect through participation, while music and shared celebrations bring different personalities, nationalities and backgrounds together. I want to create somewhere people can play, exercise, eat, drink, dance and socialise within the same environment—a place that feels exciting enough for a special event but welcoming enough to become part of someone’s regular life.

Early concept. Thinking about what makes social clubs actually work, what the hospitality model looks like, and where in the world this makes most sense.
